A shield for the home you build
PAKAL means “shield” in Maya — protection, grounding, and craft. That's the standard we hold every plan to.
Named for protection, built for place
We started PAKAL because too many Texas families were buying plans drawn for somewhere else — and paying for it in comfort, energy, and repairs.
The Maya word pa'kal — “shield” — captured what a home should be: a grounding, protective thing, shaped with care. Our emblem pairs that shield with a house and a roofline, and a stepped motif drawn from Maya geometry. It's a reminder that good design is protection made visible. [placeholder narrative]
